In 2017, Attackers used the alleged NSA exploit Eternal Blue along with other pieces of malicious code to create a devastating cyber weapon called WannaCry. Once released into the wild, this ransomware attack brought the NHS to its knees. To understand how this cyber attack occured, the BBC sat down with former hacker turned cyber security advisor Cal Leeming of River Oakfield, as he demonstrated how this malware dangerously infiltrated entire networks at an alarming rate.
